Ireland Ulster Golf Classic
September 29 through October 1, 2008

The Ulster Golf Classic

Enjoy the golfing experience of a lifetime by entering the inaugural Ulster Golf Classic. You'll test your golfing abilities against players of all calibers during the three-day tournament held in beautiful Northern Ireland, then relax and enjoy two days of open golf at some of the Emerald Isle's best courses.

Organized by Ron Hunter and Denis Reid, the goal of the Ulster Golf Classic is to expose American golfers to the beautiful and challenging golf courses of Northern Ireland. Both Hunter and Reid are from Northern Ireland, and Reid still currently resides there. They have over 50 years of combined experience both participating in and organizing golf tournaments on the Emerald Isle. Both bring extensive knowledge of the Northern Ireland golf landscape, and know a thing or two about what to do when you're not on the course! Hunter and Reid have used all their combined experiences to create a truly unique opportunity for you in the UGC.

Not only will you experience golf as you've never seen it before, you'll also enjoy the warm Irish charm and hospitality, not to mention a pint or two of the best Guiness you'll ever taste. You won't have to take out a loan to pay for this trip. By scheduling the tournament just outside the peak tourism season, Hunter and Reid will save you hundreds of dollars, while still allowing you to take advantage of good Irish weather. You'll be surprised at how reasonable the tournament fees, airfare and hotels will be. Accommodations range from magnificent five-star hotels to some of the most comfortable bed and breakfasts you've ever seen. You can even be paired up with other tournament players for rental cars and hotels, if you wish.
